MSW Orientation
This is my own program orientation...my god....this orientation is the worst ever...it's not really about meeting ppl...it's more like the professor threatening you on how hard the program will be... how much workload...how much presentations....how much stress and pressure.... i hate it already hahaha....
Graduate House Welcoming Party
I finally get to know ppl in my hall....honestly i haven't seen anyone from my floor at all....it seems like they don't exist...and i still haven't met my "washroom mate" FYI for this hall 2 rooms share 1 bathroom...so i m quite curious about who's from my floor....the party was okay.... 90% of the population here is from mainland...in general they are very nice...but some of them can't really understand english and my mandarin sucks haha....so....hahah....know a few ppl from differen floor...some from taiwan...some from mainland...some from US...and some from Canada - Vancouver....
International Student Orientation
The theme for this year is One World....HKU if particular crazy about getting oversea student this year....i mean there are ppl from somehwere in the world that u don't know exactly where it's located....and that's something my cousin has been complaining about....coz she thinks this year most of the admission were given away to oversea student and that's y local students aren't getting a lot of chances to get in....and i do feel that oversea student has an advantage too....like me I applied as oversea student but all i did was a phone inteview and i got my admission...^^
